“Lovely Cape Dutch accommodation in the center of Tulbagh”
Highly recommended – we stayed in an old part of the Cape Dutch Quarter which was beautifully appointed and very private and had a lovely weekend in Tulbagh. I should add that the CDQ also has a most impressive collection of antiques which are found throughout the establishment – it’s awesome.
We stayed in Yellow Wood – Beautiful Cape Dutch house with old wood furniture perfectly depicting an era far gone. A special piece of history to show and have your kids experience as well. Even though Church street itself is part of Tulbagh, it is so far removed from the rest of the town due to the enchanting atmosphere that prevails. Certainly a not to be missed walk down the past.
We had a girls’ trip to Tulbagh and the stay at Cape Dutch Quarters’ Yellow Wood House was absolutely amazing. Everything was to our liking and very friendly welcoming staff. We definitely will be back!
