House 20 Church, a newly renovated and refurbished cottage, is a delightful conversion from a 19th century coach house and stable. The original grand Cape Dutch house, to which this out building belonged, was sadly demolished in the 1960s, leaving the building set in a beautiful private garden. The cottage sleeps a maximum of 3 people.

The cottage features a large sunny living room with arm chairs and a comfortable sleeper-sofa.

KITCHEN
The open plan kitchen and breakfast bar is fully equipped with everything from a gas hob and oven to a dishwasher and extractor fan, so is perfect for those who enjoy eating in, and prefer a longer stay in Tulbagh. French doors open onto a sheltered private courtyard, perfect for eating and socialising on balmy evenings.
GARDEN
The garden is designed around an established oak tree with indigenous plantings, a small lawn as well as a memorial to Danie Theron, the famous Boer Scout who so frustrated the British during the Anglo-Boer War.As this property is fully contained behind a low wall, it is pet friendly. Please make prior arrangements with reception in this regard.
BEDROOM
The small but private bedroom is under the thatch on a mezzanine level and features a double bed with white cotton percale linen. BATHROOM
The bathroom is equipped with a walk-in shower and all the standard fixtures. Toilet amenities and fluffy white towels are all provided.Guests have full access to the pool, lapa and roof terrace of the main house next door. The cottage also receives a strong WI-FI signal for your convenience
