This extraordinary 200 year old gem has three ensuite bedrooms, to sleep up to six guests (Queen, Queen, Twin) and a full house with open plan lounge/dining room, conservatory living area/veranda and full kitchen/conservatory.

Every room in the house is abundantly decorated with opulent antiques and original artwork to create an old world Victorian charm which the property exudes, it has lots of character and makes for a very special stay.

LIVING DINING ROOM – Designed with seating around the piano and flat screen TV, the comfortable over size sofas and Queen Ann Chairs make for a stylish night in-doors while the mahogany dining room table which seats six, (can be extended to twelve) is perfect for formal entertaining.

KITCHEN CONSERVATORY – Opening onto the veranda, this steel and glass conservatory eat in the kitchen, is filled with light and offers views over the garden towards the pool. In addition, the small back kitchen features a large fridge and freezer, gas hob and electric oven, microwave, toaster and kettle. Full sets of guest crockery, cutlery, glasses, pots, pans and standard kitchen equipment.

VERANDA & OUTDOOR LIVING – The house offers a quiet covered front veranda on Church street where you can sit on benches and greet the tourists and visitors walking down the street. Alternately the back veranda off the kitchen has a table for eight with tranquil views down the garden to the pool and beyond.

PRIVATE GARDEN, POOL & LAPA – The established garden is a private and tranquil paradise with an enormous antique oak tree and curtains of foliage and plantings. The large swimming pool and wonderful thatched lapa/boma has a built in braai/BBQ alongside as well as a lawned areas which are great for entertaining and keeping the whole family in holiday mode. Available when booked as part of the Victorian Main house only. The cottage and lofts will use the pool and facilities at the main house across the street.

ARRIVAL & ACCESS – Check in to our central reception at 33 Van der Stel Street (IE In the main road). Guests park directly in front of the unit and have their own keys, so come and go as they please. We have security cameras and guards who patrol at night.
